			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>DOLE Davao Oriental Provincial Office conducted Project EntrepreNurse orientation on February 04, 2010, 2:00 PM at Honeys Hotel &amp; Restaurant, Mati City.  This was participated by thirty Two (32) registered nurses unemployed registered nurses. <img class="alignright" title="Miguel V. <p>The orientation started with an AUDIO VIDEO Presentation of Project EntrepreNurse then an opening statement from Miguel V. Trocio, Provincial PESO Manager emphasizing the role of the Provincial Government in the Project EntrepreNurse. He even discussed that one of the banner program of the Provincial Government is geared towards entrepreneurship. Thus, REACH was dubbed. Rural Entrepreneurship Awareness for CHange. He stressed also that Hon. Gov. Corazaon N. Malayaon signed the manifesto of support to Project EntrepreNurse.</p>
<p>Geofford M. Montejo, Jr., a nurse focal person expressed his thoughts, happiness and gratitude to Department of Labor and Employment for chosing him to represent the unemployed nurses of Davao Oriental during the Policy Harmonization Workshop on January 20-21, 2010 at Apo View Hotel, Davao City. He presented the proceedings on the said workshop. He encouraged the participants to join this endeavor and build a Home Health Care institution in Davao Oriental. <img class="alignright" title="a nurse representative" src="http://www.dole11.net/entreprenurse/images/davor_pic2.jpg" alt="" width="350" height="263" /></p>
<p>The undersigned presented the project based on the Concept Paper developed by Atty. Jalilo O. Dela Torre.</p>
<p>Pacifico V. Castillones, Jr., Provincial Cooperative Officer of the Provincial Government of Davao Oriental explained the cooperativeism and the role of the Provincial Cooperative Office to the participants. He promised to conduct the Pre-membership Education Seminar (PMES) for one day only.<br />
In the Open Forum, to wit are the questions:<br />
1.	Can they still join the cooperative if they are employed?<br />
2.	Is there any monetary counterpart from the nurses if they are member of the Cooperative?<br />
3.	How much is the minimum capital share and membership fee?<br />
4.	Is there an available market for the Home Health Care in Davao Oriental?<br />
5.	If the nurses cannot afford to pay the capital share, can the financial assistance from DOLE be used as Capital Share?<br />
6.	When shall be the Pre-membership Education Seminar?</p>
<p>Questions were answered by the presenters. The body agreed to hold the Pre-membership Education Seminar on February 18, 2010 at Honeys Hotel and Restaurant, Mati City. The group selected by five (5) nurses to form a Core Group including the Provincial PESO Manager, chairperson of Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) Davao Oriental Chapter, and DOLE representative to start formulating Policies and Constitution and By Laws to be presented to the general assembly meeting. The Core Group is scheduled to have a meeting on February 9, 2010 at DOLE Provincial Office, Mati City.</p>
<p>It was also decided to continue share and spread the good news of Project EntrepreNurse to nurses of Davao Oriental. The nurses also filled up Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies and EntrepreNurse Profile Form.</p>
<p>The activity ended with a Closing Statement of Mr. Quirino M. David, Provincial Labor Officer of DOLE Davao Oriental at 5:10 in the afternoon.</p>
